Kathy, what a journey we had with the clubhouse makeover. Looking at my past emails we started this process during the summer of 2019.

First, I can’t thank you enough for agreeing to tackle this job knowing that you would have to work with the Board/HOA and a very tight budget!

Secondly, even with all the ups and downs, my frantic phone calls, you continued to be the professional who very tactfully and pleasantly continued to guide us to reach our goals.

Thirdly, I can’t imagine doing this makeover with anyone except you. You are extremely creative and knowledgeable of the latest designs, colors, fabrics and you have a wealth of contacts in the industry. Your attention to detail is superb. Your time devoted to this project was endless and your very generous “gifts” to make the clubhouse a show room was above and beyond!

Although, there were material, construction and delivery delays due to the Covid19 pandemic, the wait was so worth it.

Thank you again for everything you did for us!

Kathy – I keep walking from room to room and sitting on/in all the furniture. And it is just so magical and beautiful. I have never had anything so lovely in my life. I am so grateful.

Kathy has done an excellent job for us over the years. She is always professional and helpful. She allows your style to shine. I highly recommend her!

From start to finish, Kathy was a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional. She helped transform our “play room” cluttered with toys to a “family room” that can be enjoyed by all. Kathy is a natural for interior design and decorating. She is timeless with her ideas and has an eye for color. Kathy is very easy to work with and has unique suggestions. She has helped us with new projects, and also assisting us with finishing a room by adding decorations and window treatments so it would come together.

I had a great experience working with Kathy McGroarty. I lack artistic/design talent, so I relied on Kathy to help create a beautiful home space in my family room. Kathy ensured the design would be functional, as well as last for years.

Kathy listened closely to my ideas but also suggested other creative ideas/layouts and colors that I never thought of before, and while sometimes it took me out of my comfort zone, I did not regret any of the decisions we made. Kathy worked with my indecisiveness and also accommodated my crazy life and schedules.

My friends and family immediately commented on the new transformation of our room. Kathy was easy to work with. She was always professional and hard at work to find ‘just the right mirror, couch, lamp or rug for me. I couldn’t speak more highly of Kathy. I love my room and I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her.

Kathy has been great to work with. She is very positive and listens to her customer’s desires. We would highly recommend working with her for your decorating needs!

Kathy decorated our living room from top to bottom and it’s beautiful! She toured our house to understand our style, and then gave us several options for everything (furniture, fabrics, artwork, etc.) to select from. She really worked with us to ensure we were happy, and even let us make last minute changes as the room started to come together. She also made sure the room coordinated with the rest of our house.

We worked with Kathy to update the window treatments in our living room. Kathy provided her design talent to help us find just the right fabric and colors. We are very happy with how wonderful our living room now looks! Kathy also worked with us to outfit our screened porch with shades. The shades are perfect! Not only do they provide necessary sun protection but they also give the porch a finished, sophisticated look.

I was moving into a new house and I needed someone that could coordinate the sub contractors for doing the painting, setting up the drapes, coordinating the refinishing of the floor – and laying out the home for furniture, etc. Kathy placed my existing furniture into the new house, hung the paintings, coordinated the move with the movers and laying out the furniture. This allowed me the free time to run my company, without the constant interruptions that a home project normally would entail.

Kathy was great to work with. Came prepared with samples & other resources. She is no pressure – just good advice. The job was completed timely and professionally. Highly recommend her services.

Kathy helped me with several projects; finding the best curtains for my living room windows and sliding glass door, determining the right covers for my dining room chairs and making suggestions for rearranging some living room furniture. Kathy’s suggestions were always helpful and have helped to make my condo a comfortable place to live. Her suggestions regarding the covering for my dining room chairs were especially creative, choosing a color in my carpet that I never would have imagined. The covers brighten the room and always receive appreciative comments.

Kathy, just wanted you to know it’s always a pleasure working with you. It’s great to see the ‘whole product’ turn out so well and it makes my floors look even better.

It’s so hard to write this because I truly don’t feel that I have the right words to describe what a great experience it has been working with Kathy to decorate my house. My taste is pretty traditional but I’m also very timid when it comes to color so I stick with earth tones. When building our new house I knew how I wanted it to feel but also wanted it to be more bright and colorful.

After my first phone conversation with Kathy I felt that I could work well with her. She was easy going, encouraging and understood my trepidation. I wanted it to be my (our) house, not someone else’s interpretation of what we wanted.

Throughout the process Kathy was patient and persistent in finding out my likes and dislikes. I don’t know exactly when it happened but I was finally able to come out of the haze of my earth tone cocoon and really embrace the colors that I love. And now I have the beautifully decorated home that I’ve always dreamed of. A place that is elegant, welcoming and homey, while being bright and fun at the same time.

There is not even one item that Kathy helped me choose that I have a single regret about.

This is in no way as eloquent as I would like it to be but I think you’ll get the gist. Suffice it to say, I cannot ever imagine being able to thank Kathy enough for what she’s done for me. She helped me turn my dream house into a home. I am truly grateful.

From start to finish, our experience with Kathy was fantastic. She listened attentively, asked all the right questions, offered creative ideas and solutions, and delivered on time – twice. We added components to our original design and she pulled out all the stops to make sure we had them before the holidays!

We came to her with a vision, and she was able to connect with it – even showing up with fabric samples identical to ones we had been considering before we met, but hadn’t shared with her. It felt as if she had a touch of ESP! We would work with Kathy again in a heartbeat, and have happily recommended her to others.

Kathy is great with colors and worked with our existing furniture to sustainably update our tired family room. We now have fresh light paint, new window treatments, pillows and ottomans. It feels like a completely different room. Beautiful!

Kathy is one of the most talented interior designers that I have worked with. She is always positive, gives her professional opinion but ultimately leaves the client to make the decision of what to purchase. I’m pleased with the painting of my house & the various pieces of art that I purchased from her. I would recommend her services to anyone.

We have come to know Kathy very well over the past few months, as she has made this process simple for our family. When all is said and done, we will have used her services for the entire bottom floor of our 2,800 square foot house. Can’t wait to see how the end product looks, we are so happy thus far!

Joanne and I are extremely pleased with the professional manner in which Kathy handled the decorating at our home in Flourtown, PA during 2017. She is pleasant and easy to deal with. Her ability to understand what we wanted showed us her experience, knowledge and creativity.

Kathy was very patient during the entire time, especially as we struggled to make decisions. We feel she went above and beyond in helping us feel comfortable with our final selections. We never felt rushed and she continued to offer additional alternatives until we were satisfied. However, once we made up our mind, she always had the ability to get our decorating projects done on time and within budget.

Also, she was instrumental in finding a professional painter and paperhanger for us and even helped us decide on paint colors and wallpaper selections. For those reasons we would recommend Kathy without a moment’s hesitation and we look forward to working with her again in 2018.
