Kathy McGroarty is an award-winning, professional interior designer and offers her clients outstanding design skills along with a desire to offer the best in customer service. Kathy is a Certified Interior Designer, and a Window Fashion Certified Professional. Kathy’s passion is working with clients to design the home of their dreams and she knows how lucky she is to be able to say this.

Many of Kathy’s clients are professionals commuting from coastal Delaware or are business owners themselves. They have little time to worry over an extended interior design project or the many small details that form part of the whole. It may not seem a difficult thing, but creating functional, beautiful spaces requires knowledge, skill, and patience!

Local retirees also benefit from Kathy’s professionalism when they downsize and move here from larger homes. They usually want a fresh start perhaps keeping several collectibles and look to Kathy for a fresh start.

Kathy’s longtime affiliation with Decorating Den Interiors has allowed her access to a full range of high-end manufacturers. This includes custom upholstered furniture, fine furniture and case goods, lighting, flooring and wallpapers. She offers expertise as an agency owner for Hunter Douglas window shades and blinds, designs custom window treatments, and will finish your home with art and accessories. Kathy will design semi-custom and custom bedding for your master bedroom, children’s rooms and guest rooms.

Kathy writes articles about home décor for local newspapers, sharing her experience with decorating tips for home owners. Her award-winning work has been published in books and magazines throughout the United States and Canada.
