Each year Decorating Den Interiors invites franchise owners to enter their beautiful rooms for judging in the Annual Dream Room Awards Competition. These awards are highly sought after because the competition is judged by Editors of national design magazines such as Traditional Home, Elle Decor, Southern Living, and Veranda. There are also awards given by the public in an online competition open to the general public called the People’s Choice.
Kathy has received several awards in both residential and commercial categories. She has also received several awards in the Peoples Choice Award. In 2017 Kathy’s won 1st Place with her Children’s Room entry, and was also featured in Vision Magazine in October 2017. Click to see a full CASE STUDY.

This transitional living room won first place in the Living Room category which was judged by interior design journalists from across the US & Canada. The room also came in second place overall out of 11 categories and 267 entries, and first place in the living room category of the Peoples Choice Award which earned runner up status for Decorator of the Year Award.

Glen Mills 55+ Community common space was a challenge for interior designer Kathy McGroarty. But she came out on top by winning 1st Place with her entry in the Commercial Space category of the Dream Room Awards 2016.
